Pompeii’s Pizzeria & Italian Eatery
Frank A. Fiorello; peace, love, and a loaded gun.

We stopped in Pompeii's in Port Huron to grab lunch, what a fantastic choice. We stepped in from the bright afternoon sunshine into a darkened room up front. The atmosphere was old world traditional, we always prefer a booth so that is where we were seated given the choice. We strolled to the back area just to have a quick look. The back area had huge windows and tables so we happily went back to our dark, cozy booth up front.
We ordered drinks and a couple appetizers, the calamari aosta and bruschetta. Both were delicious, and the presentation was very presentable to say the least. As we finished up our appetizers we sipped our drinks in anticipation of our main course.
For our main course I ordered the Shrimp & Grouper Scampi, it was wonderfully cooked and tasted amazing. It was so savory and even though I was getting full half way through my main dish, I just could not stop. The sauce was so addictive, I cleared my plate to my own self inflicted guilt. She had the antipasto salad that was covered in the house dressing that she said was terrific. It was another picture perfect presentation.
The staff at Pompeii’s is tough to beat when it comes to how well the food is prepared, cooked, plated and served looking magnificent and with a smile from the very charming service men and women.
After dinner we ordered the Tiramisu. We didn’t need it but oh did we want it. Trying to behave, we shared a piece that was so decadent and delicious we could have each eaten another piece to ourselves. We agreed that we can not wait to go back.
Overall Pompeii's was a delightful experience, the decor was great and the service was as well. I would highly recommend it to my friends and family.
